i was disrespected, humiliated, yelled, and forcedcof my job. i disagreed with the bad customer service three days into the job, and i was labeled a bad employee by someone who has never worked anywhere except for his big brother the owner of this company, since he arrived in america.the owner of this company humiliated,and threatened me.i was told to go look for another job.they don't realize i could have had their business license revoked for illegal prctices, and not following OSHA requirements throughout over the years.stupid COO of this company did not even know who or what was OSHA.i could also have taken this mcompany and their affiliates to court on several charges.these people had exit doors in the building that were blocked off.it took two months to get the doors fixed after an employee threaten to go to OSHA.one guy was fired for spending more than 5 minutes in the bathroom.others were given warnings for not showing up for work on sundays(unpaid working day).
i feel disgusting talking about how much they paid me,because they stole more out of me in the name of company expense which was never reimbursed.
i recognized unprofessional working environment as soon as i started working here. i had to put up with all the crap, coz i had just moved from another city, which seemed to be a big mistake to take up a job with these people. owner of this company had given his brother the position of a COO, which he was not the right person. the COO who spoke less then half ass english was overlooking everything from cleaning bathrooms to software programming. this company have lost good employees because of kasim. this guy tried to get us to clean bathrooms, what a jerk. this guy came to united states in the past few years and did not even do hard work, coz his big brother made him the boss. how freaking stupid. co workers turned out to be back stabbers, who accepted invitations from the COO, and talked crap about others.
not enough money for the hard work. no bonuses or reimbursements. used our vacation time to pay for holidays like thanksgiving, christmas and etc. no evertime pay.
I accepted a position, and started working, to my surprise on my very first day of work the yelling and screaming started. every instruction was relayed and in a very loud voice and with profanity. most of the employees were on work visas who came from overseas. since the employer and the employees spoke the same language, the manager was loosely using profanity since others did not understand the language. employees were forced to use their personal vehicle to make deliveries and service calls. my manager who came to united states four years ago, and could not speak half way decent english was teaching me how to respond to client's e-mail. i got tired of being verbally abused, and told these people to watch their dirty mouth. these people started a propaganda against me, but thanks to coworkers who respected me a lot, told me how these people were cooking up something for me. so first time in my life i spat on this company and moved on.
Salary was not great, but it was okay. problem was having to work overtime without pay. there were no bonuses for us after we worked so hard. employees used personal vehicles for company use, and never got reimbursed. when i left, they did not pay me for my vacation time. the stupid manager was asking employees for money to put fuel in company vehicle, while he used company credit cards to put fuel in his personal vehicles to take trips to indiana, and illinois.
